Robotic Builders: Mighty Machines

Run a robotic job site with a chainsaw, drill, jackhammer, and other machines you build! Working in pairs, campers use LEGO® Robotics to build and program these tools, a hammer-and-nail machine, and a loader. Motors and simple machines create cutting, drilling, hammering, and lifting movements. Partners change the code to adjust speed or direction and watch how the machines respond. They time the movements and measure how far a loader travels. Take charge of when your robotic crew hammers, lifts, and gets moving. Bring a snack and drink for class breaks, plus a USB drive on the last day.
