Lego Robotics

Robotic Builders: Battle Machines

Catapults launch, tanks roll, and campers code the action in these LEGO® Robotics battle machines. Working in pairs, kids build models such as a catapult, tank, crossbow, ninja star, battle axe, chainsaw, and helicopter. They examine how the parts fit together, then program their creations to move. Motors turn the simple machines into working models. A catapult target range tests their launches, while the tank arena gives another build its turn in the action. Pick your next target and put that catapult to work. Bring a snack and drink for class breaks, plus a USB drive on the last day.
