Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity with Python

Crack secret codes, spot phishing attempts, and test your cyber defenses. Campers will explore ethical hacking through NOVA password-cracking challenges, practice websites, and Capture-the-Flag contests. In Python, they’ll write a Caesar cipher to turn a message into a secret code and back again. The Riskio attack-and-defend game lets them try both sides of a cybersecurity challenge as they investigate how weaknesses are found and fixed. They’ll also test password strength and build a cyber defense game, putting their ideas into code. Campers should be comfortable using a keyboard. Bring a snack and drink for class breaks. Bring a USB drive on the last day to save your projects.
